This was the advices given by Daniel for American Teens.
To live with drug addiction is to live in a world of perpetual twilight, a place where there is no desire except to use and no hope except to get high. Addiction strips its victims of their dignity, and turns them into shells of the people they used to be. But you already know that. If you’ve made it this far, you don’t need a lecture on the perils of substance abuse. You need a primer on what you can do to beat it for good.
Addiction recovery always starts with a first step. Drug addiction is a personal disease, and it can only be confronted on personal terms. If you’re going to get better, it’s going to be because you resolve to take up the fight, and to see the healing process through to its conclusions. The only catch, though, is that you can’t get where you’re trying to go without help.
Daniel says drug rehab is vital for todays American teens.
